Native to Mexico, the Yucca, with its sword like leaves is a relatively easy going plant. Very popular in the 70’s…it’s made a recent comeback!

This plant is grown in a peat-free medium, so you may find that the top soil tends to dry out a little faster – but don’t worry, just use your finger and test to see if the top 2-3 inches of soil are still moist, to avoid overwatering. You’ll also want to treat your plant to fertiliser during growing season, as you won’t find the same nutrients in this mix as you’d find in traditional soil.
